Why we started
More than two million people over 75 in England live alone, and over a million older people go a month or more without speaking to a friend, neighbour or family member.
We built Silver Circle to make the first hello easier, with big clear text, no jargon, and real people close to home.

How we use your information
Silver Circle is in an early pilot. Here's what we keep and who can see it.
What we keep
- Your email address and password, so you can sign in.
- Your profile: first name, town or area, a few words about you, what you enjoy and what you're looking for.
- Your messages, the clubs you join, your weekly check-ins, your questions to the care team, and your plan choice.
Who can see what
- Other signed-in members can see your profile and the clubs you've joined.
- Your messages can only be seen by you and the person you're talking to.
- Your questions can only be seen by you and the Silver Circle care team.
- Your weekly check-ins can only be seen by you.
Keeping it safe
- Your information is stored with our database provider, Supabase, in London.
- You can report or block anyone. Our team reviews every report.
- The care team isn't a medical service. For urgent medical help call NHS 111, or 999 in an emergency.
Removing your information
You can remove your profile, conversations and questions at any time from Your profile. To delete your account completely, email silver@circle.co.uk.
